Montauk
Founded in 2013 by original owner Dustin Keating—an avid surfer and travel writer—who named the bar after the famous Long Island town, known for its waves and laid-back beachside bars.
In 2024, the bar was acquired by brand educator, beverage director, and award winning bartender for some of Toronto’s top bars and restaurants, Christopher Mccrabb, who seeked to reinvent the space to reflect the original inspiration.
Montauk bar regularly hosts community driven events like our annual hospitality holiday party, where we accept non-perishable food items and new or gently used clothing in support of local families through organizations like the daily bread, and the fort york food bank.

Absolutely! Our entrance is at street level and our washrooms are as well.

Aside from street parking there is also a paid lot around the corner next to McDonalds.

Yes. The Dundas and Bathurst streetcar s both stop just down the street.

While we do not have a kitchen, we do offer both all beef and veggie steamed hot dogs as well as a small assortment of packaged snacks.
